There are more challenging and thrilling Nigerian start ups in social media than having an internet Oshodi market or video jukebox. A talent war for internet Oshodi market and jukebox will not produce the next Nigerian Google or Facebook. VConnect and Yookos among others are great Nigerian start ups that are doing more for Nigerian IT whiz kids than an internet Oshodi market or video jukebox. Iroko TV is not another YouTube and Kasuwa is not another eBay. As we speak something bigger and more innovative than Iroko TV is lauching in September and will do more for Nollywood than Iroko TV. What Iroko TV pays Nollywood producers is chicken feed compared what they will male on their own video jukebox.
