When i say fashion school,i mean where i can learn from the scratch,how to cut and sew clothes.
the only thing i hear now is, go to school and learn a trade, its no more the go to school and get a good grade.

Istituto di Moda Burgo an Italian Fashion School, Born in Milan , Italy in 1961 by its director and publisher Fernando Burgo is an international leader in fashion education, with 51 years of experience in the fashion industry, Burgo has developed a training method aimed to optimize and emphasize learning efficiency with the main objective of forming students for the labour market.




MISSION

The aim of opening Istituto di Moda Burgo in different countries and regions in the world is to help merge the world class method of teaching techniques with the cultural and environmental expectations of that country or region were the school is being opened.

In Nigeria Istituto di Moda Burgo in partnership with Ekanem Fashion House mission is to
prepare high and international level specialist in the fashion field able to compete with international Fashion reality.

To maintain these standard Istituto di Moda Burgo can not take more than 10 student per teacher.

When a student applies to the school and there is no available space, the school will notify the student on the next available space as soon as possible and the student will be included in our waiting list.

Istituto di Moda Burgo’s teaching method is based on individual lessons. The teachers give to each one a personal explanation which is related to the level of the student and his cultural background. This teaching method allows student:
to create an excellent relationship with the teacher
to focus on some aspects which the student need to study in depth due to his level.
to skip some aspects which the student already knows due to his level.
to start courses at the beginning of every month (except July and August due to summer vacations)
to avoid an admission test
to select between Italian and English courses
all courses are 85% practical and 15% theory
