I agree wt u all that this is evil n wickedness of the highest order. People like this are not fit to live among us, they should hav their brains examined and probably quaratined for the rest of their life to forestall a future re-occurence. But my fellow good citizens of Naija, beyond our usual sympathetic message n comments, what are we doing to make this world a better place? we cant leave everythin to Govt u know? if u were to be this woman's naighbour, what would u have done? wait until this boy dies or make a personal effort to reach the police? Even if you cant call d police, there are centres that handle abuse of human rights/children in nig, we can call such people and report the case even without letting the abusers know. This is one of such centres below, im very sure we will hav many of such centres evrywhere in naija, we can just try n google it, and also there are human rights lawyers that can assist people tht are vulnerable to abuse.. tanx all

Abuse of children is rampant in Nigeria, especially the abuse of house helps. I cannot count how many times I have prevented excessive beating of young children because of simple misdemeanour.

Unfortunately we do not have a government, so everybody can do whatever they like

This is again acute failure of society and government. That lad was seriously let down and paid with his life.

The woman most likely has psychiatric issues. Until somebody goes about unclad in Naija, we don't think they have mental problems.

That woman should not have been raising children without proper anger management or even mental health attention.

The woman might not be fit for trial (mental problems) in an advanced country.

We risk double tragedy here. A young life lost and a mad woman who was not treated being sent to prison.
