I have been watching with keen interest and I noticed that, when other region threatens to secede from Nigeria, they will not be taken serious but once the igbo tries to do that, the whole country will be afraid, I am just wondering, could this be out of fear for the igbos?? why this igbo phobia? does it mean that the rest of Nigeria cannot survive without the igbos? I mean igbo land is not the only oil bearing part of the country. Feel free to make a contribution.

I don't think it's only Igbos this applies to (though i feel there's some validity in your assertion because of the pre-eminence of Ndigbo/Alaigbo in all facets of Nigerian life).....i reckon the same could be said of any other ethnic group (apart from Hausa/Fulani/Kanuri/Nupe) that by some stroke of goodluck gets the backing of the international community and United nations to secede.

Nigeria could still remain if the above mentioned ethnicities threaten to leave the 'union'.

Igbos are the power house of Nigeria, check all the viable states in Nigeria, it is Igbos that are generating 80% revenues thats why they wont let igbos go... But after all the Israelites stayed in Egypt for 430 yrs before God came to their rescue. We will soon be out of dis union wether dem like it or not

^^^And if as you imply the rest of Nigeria saw Ndigbo as being 'expendable' and 'inconsequential', why did they go through the hassle of fighting a civil war to bring them back into wonderful/prosperous/working Nigeria which -to date- you have not faulted your forbears for fighting to sustain....abi una no want Oduduwa republic again?

You should ask your Ibo soldiers what they were looking for in Ore and the midwest if their intention was to secede

what complex? and how do you know they have no history with them?
are you JEW or is not a matter of complex on your side to think that they will be
better than you if they have jewish ancestry.

thanks man! You got it right! These people acuze the notherners of expansionism but they are the real expansionists. I am not making a case for hausa fulanis though they have to come to realise that nigeria is not about the three people only. They never wanted their own country. They wanted to crush the norths hold on power. They wish they are in the shoes of the north.but god forbid that they hold power EXCLUSIVELY in this beloved country considering what you do to us in the market
