|Does Nigeria Have Any Legend(s)? by Abyjah: 8:58am On Aug 10, 2012|
Usain Bolt is now a sporting legend. Though self-acclaimed, but a legend all the same. So far, no one has refuted his claim therefore I believe it's meritable.http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/mobile/olympics/19204226
The question now is: Does Nigeria have any legend(s)?
I know Farouk is one, but a bad one at that.
Oya, let's know Nigerians who are legends or you believe are legends.

Daley "Ayodele" Thompson. One of the greatest Decathlete of all time...but he competed for Britain.

Gemma11: Daley "Ayodele" Thompson. One of the greatest Decathlete of all time...but he competed for Britain. He chose Britain over Nigeria and is now a British property. He has done nothing for Nigeria but everything for Britain. I'm open for educating if I'm wrong.

Ayodele is still a Nigerian regardless of which country he represented.

For real? Sounds highly improbable.
Before a sportsman represents a country not his own, he nationalizes to a citizen of that country. And automatically loses the ability to represent his own nation or any other except that one.
