Due to the increase in terrorist activities in parts of this country, I have decided to share some tips to keep yourself secured. feel free to add more:


1) Watch for Strange Movements, strangers asking suspicious questions such as;

**"What time does the church/mosque service finishes",
**"Do you know the area where Senator Tinubu lives"?
**"What car does that pastor/imam drive "?..
be mindful of your responses and also study the person you are speaking to, If possible press them further to find out their intent and evaluate their reaction through their response.

Suspicious Questioning tip no. 2: Are you aware of anyone attempting to gain information in person, by phone, mail, email or other communication method regarding a key facility or its personnel.

2) Don't hang around Crowded areas for too long, such as local markets.

3) If you suspect a stranger's mission, watch body language for signs of nervousness and eye movements.

4) Don't accept luggages or packages from strangers or someone who comes across appearing to be nice

5) If you see a suspect package left unattended, DO NOT OPEN IT, CONTACT THE LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENTS ASAP.

6) Mind what you say in public as you may be giving out crucial information to terrorists. Always be aware that terrorists are good listeners and often gather intelligence just like our law enforcement agencies.

7) Terrorists love soft targets such as bars and clubs, so make sure you pay close attention to your surroundings.

8 ) Always watch for strange cars parked suspiciously/Abandoned in your neighbourhood as nobody can be trusted fully.

9) Be your brothers keeper by sharing this information with your friends and family

10) "Except the Lord watches the house, the watch man watches in vain"

11) Empty cans are used in manufacturing locally made bombs. Always destroy all empty and used cans in ur house and around your environment.
