Came across this publication in the Nation, August 10, 2012. I really must say I'm quite disturbed.
Gen. Aliyu Gusua being offered the post of Minister of Defense has given three conditions if he is to accept the offer.
*Free hand to operate
*A waiver to do whatever he can to salvage the security challenges facing the nation
*Opportunity to resign anytime, if he is displeased with the situation or if he feels that he has fulfilled his mission in the FEC.

BY ANY MEANS necessary comes to mind. Will he be accountable to the sitting Commander in Chief?
