Does anyone know how i can intall pyqt in windows. I have downloaded pyqt, python27 and SIP. I have installed python 2.7 in c:\python27\ i have extracted sip and pyqt in c:\pygt and c:\sip How do i get pyqt to work? Also my how do i power up IDLE? Its not contained my python27 unlike i had in python26 folder. |

you should be using the pyqt any of these installers 32 bit windows http://www.riverbankcomputing.co.uk/static/Downloads/PyQt4/PyQt-Py2.7-x86-gpl-4.9.4-1.exe 64 bit windows http://www.riverbankcomputing.co.uk/static/Downloads/PyQt4/PyQt-Py2.7-x64-gpl-4.9.4-1.exe the windows binary distribution comes with sip already Use IDLE when you are idle and need to waste valuable coding time. you can try out other IDEs like aptana, eric,pycharm based on reviews Pycharm tops the list, but I use Netbean. |
