I went to a market in KADUNA to buy some foodstuffs but was surprised at the price of beans. One mudu (about 8 cups)of Brown beans = N500, white beans = N450 and rice = N300. Which States in Nigeria produce beans and why the sudden rise in price(more than 200%). I hope this was not caused by all these bombing in the North. How much do u buy beans in your area ? |

The price seems to have risen everywhere. Here, I used to buy the black-eyed bean (500 g) for €1,00 but now it sells for €1,80. |
