I have been having a serious thought on how things are handled in this country, why is it that when there is a plane crash the government is concerned but if its road accident they act like its normal forgetting that nigeria looses more of its citizens to road crashes than plane crashes. My question is Are the Air users more important than the road users?

A life is a life.
It all depends on the severity of the accident. Plane crash is usually more devastating than road accidents because more people die take the Dana incident for instance.

Seams to be true. Because government officials, high profile personalities travel on air. They pay less attention to road accident as probability of profile citizens less to be involved.

and thats why government spends billions repairing the roads in the air than the roads on ground?? Abi?

My point is that the government seems concerned about air users because most are high personalities, if government value each life there should be proper measure to address anytin that could cause an accident, you need to see how many lives are lost on a daily basis on our roads. Still nothing is done about this roads, just as inquires are made as regard Air mishap so it should be for road accidents. For example is high time trucks are no longer allowed to move during the day on our highways since the roads are no longer safe for the smaller cars.
