Kindly give us your own rough estimate (sample test)
During my undergraduate years(2004), I opened a game house somewhere around my school. Here are the rough estimate of what I spent:

3 PS2 video game - N35000 X 3 = N105,000

10 Game pads - N2,000 each = N20,000

3 21' TV(faily used) - N17,000 each = N51,000

Fan - N3,000

5 Game plates - N300 each = N1500

8 Plastic seats - N700 each = N5,400

Iron protector for Televisions and Video games - can't remember

Generator - N28,000

Renting of space - N30,000

Agreement & Legal fee - N10,000

Agent's fee - N10,000

Settlement of the Youths in the area - N8,000

Police settlement - N30,000 per year

Security - N500 per month

Sanitation fee - N8,000 per year

NEPA bill - N1,800 per month

Container - N80,000

etc etc

I sold the shop to a friend midway into my programme because it was interfering with my academic activities. Moreover, myriads of levies from government agencies or government sanctioned agencies were cutting deep into my take home profit. On the other hand, my video game lenses do develop problem from time to time necessitating its replacement. The cost of its replacement no be moi moi. I hope that my sketchy estimate will be adequate enough.

cafe biz is tough, i own one that is managed by my uncle. Some days the network is perfect and other days its slow as hellll with pissed off customers. But during jamb/waec/fingerprint type registrations you can make #30k a day for 2 weeks or for however long that registration runs for. If you teach computer classes including assembly etc, u can get up to #50k additional per month. My profit margin is between #80k to #120k per month but considering my initial investment and customer complaints i will be closing it down as soon as i get my next project in place.

In Lagos, i cut my hair for 300 naira and the saloon looks great, 6 "moving chairs" 2 huge mirrors facing eachother, glass wall (transparent), Plasma tv and AC. i am going to try and find out how much each of the equipment in the store cost. looking into settling up a 4 star barbing saloon. (maybe 3 in different location). I kindly like the saloon and it looks very elegant. the dressing they do on your head alone after cutting the hair would make you keep coming.

BTW: the saloon pix you posted looks so old school to me, to be the best, a saloon should be ready to stand out from the rest. i won't go into any saloon looking that way. the barber isn't even putting on shoes.
