well, those who say 13 triangles. Clap for yourself. It's actually 13 triangles. Let's not forget that the whole diagram itself is a triangle so we have here 6 red triangles 3 white trangles 3 red triagles combinining to form a trangle (3 times)= 3 the whole diagram = 1 so what do we have? 6+3+3+1 = 13 finito!  |

in addition to my earlier post - we can see in the picture 9 visible triangles, 3 invisible triangles and if you count the whole fugure itself it becomes 13. Whichever way you look at it, it's 13 triangles |
