I am me in a world unknown
Where pains from childhood is sown
Love is a metaphor which on the wind is grown
Laughter from the heart not known
The world moves in a mass
Flowing with the tide arranged like a class
Eyes dead to feeling unpierced like glass
Plastic smiles on their lips like a gate pass
Who shows love to the weaklings
When from childhood you are like misplaced seedlings
Living off the street dumps like dumplings
While tears from your eyes keeps rolling

I live in a life where death comes
Like oxygen your life plumps
Giving no chance for reforms
While you journey into afterlife unwelcomed
Be careful of the sky while sleeping
For you know not when planes come crashing
Be careful of the road while walking
For you know not when the tanker comes rolling
Ha!!! This palmwine has taken its toll
My eyes and pen keeps moving in a droll
Clueless it may seem like an election poll
But it is a welcome sedative to my soul

I live like the mountain goats
Who feed daily on young tender oats
Though it does cause hurt to their throats
But the paddle will always befriend the boat
Where is my world in the galaxy
When I ply the street saddened and boxy
Surely pain and dirt is truly unsexy
No short cuts even when you are foxy

This life of mine is lonely
I wander the street not feeling homely
Pangs of hunger attacks me uncomely
Surely I live my life not for me
