Legal experts have said that President Goodluck Jonathan has saved the country from the second humiliation before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) by not filing an appeal against the ICJ judgment over the Bakassi. Chief Mike Ozekhome SAN said in Abuja yesterday that Nigeria does not have a good case, adding that second humiliation would have been worse than the first. He said that the decision not to appeal may not be too popular, but that past governments should be blamed for shoddy job on the matter.
