Hi, I check you site which shared by you here. Its look very simple and its graphics quality is not so good. I think you have to make some changes in your site and also you have to add some more images in it.

You are using a very large image that is 1300 px by 1300 px as the background image. It seems you want the image to create the illusion of header and footer areas. The problem here, apart from the large file size of the image, is that the content that you have on the two areas, must never exceed what is there now or the text would overlap thereby spoiling the 'plan' . Also because of the image dimensions, it only covers one side of the screen for people who are viewing it with higher screen resolutions and makes it appear as if you deliberately left-floated the site which am sure you didnt.

Possible solution: Create a header section and make it of 100% width and also a footer and make it of 100% width. Get your photoshop/ fireworks or any image tool you use and use the crop tool, set the dimensions to 100 by 100 px(this is to try to make it seamless when the image is repeated) and crop inside of the top area of that image that is empty(avoiding any text). Use the cropped image as the background for the newly created header and footer and *repeat* the image in the css. Alternatively, you could create that in photoshop, its just a matter of sampling the color of your current background image, setting the new image dimensions to 100px by 100px and adding the noise filter till you get the required result.

You can also discard all I just wrote now as the ramblings of someone who suddenly found time on his hands
