Type T 1v is the only oil to use. flee from all those oil listed. Go to the market and you will get Toyota Type T-IV and use it. There are some sold in gallons and some are in 1 litre bottle.

Mobil ATF Dexron 11e or Oando Dexron 111. Any other lower than these is not suitable

I am sorry for all the wahala. The gear will need to be repaired. Once you use the wrong oil, the windstar starts behaving funny hence it is only reverse gear that now works. The fibers are burnt and only a competent gear specialist will fix it. The other aspect is the quantity of the Mercon V that you will put inside the gear. It takes 13 litres of Mercon V. Seahorse has done greater damage to that car and I will recommend everyone that they should throw away their sea horse cans into the sea. It is good for nothing. As for your high fuel consumption, the basic maintenance routine needs to be observed. Look for someone to scan the car. If the car is in Calabar, call this number 08066983377 and he will know what to do. His name is Acho. We have Mercon V and once you have resolved the gear issue, we can send you the oil.

I am sorry for the late post. I just saw it yesterday. Wolfhead Super synthetic ATF: very very good. It can even work with 2015 Rav 4. One of the best. We are also selling the oil now.

What is the issue? Is it going forward or just reverse or is it stuck in all gears? Like I told the guy in Calabar, the transmission fluid for the windstar requires 13 litres of Mercon V. We have a workshop where we can dismantle the gear and send it down to lagos and after repairs, we will send it back to Abuja for the gear to be mounted. Or on the other hand, whenever our tow trucks come into Abuja, we will bring the car to lagos for repairs at minimum charges for towing. and then drive the car back to Abuja. And there is one that is leaving for Abuja tomorrow if you so desire.
