Bros, help me ask o. It is a shame that CAF could not even give the primary broadcast rights to a big company in countries such as South Africa, Nigeria or even Egypt. Moreover, I thought that CAF, just like FIFA or UEFA would control the production of matches and sell the broadcast signals at a cheaper rate to African stations. 6 million Euros is a totally outrageous amount; I don't think African broadcast stations

collectively paid that amount to even broadcast the last World Cup.

They are asking NTA/AIT to cough out BILLIONS of Naira just to broadcast a football match. SMH.

Why is it that Nigerians think everything in this world is free? NOTHING IS FREE IN THIS WORLD. i don't mind if the rights are pricey, CAF and african football need the money, my problem is that i believe (but i could be wrong) that this french company employs or is owned by Hayatou's son. I remember Egypt being pissed because the deal they had for their matches was better than the new deal they were locked into with CAF. the CAF deal was disgusting and ridiculous.
