Dilapidated infrastructures, corrupt politicians, etc and more appropriately the continued apathy and insults from the citizens against his policies and programmes. if law was followed (and trust me no law is followed in Nigeria) the military and vice president should be in charged but more power should be under controlled by the military and house of assembly and yes elections should start in a months time and ready there should be candidates but in Nigeria's circumstance the vice president will throw the law (bill about how power should be controlled) out the window take full power and will and rule Nigeria as long as he can until the next year where he might carry the elections.example bad-luck Jonathan(same rule applies if the president dies).
