I could not help but lament at the pathetic state of Nigeria as I read an old news article which was published in the UK Daily Mail today. This is in relation to the 4 poor students who were burnt to death with not one iota of mercy. In the comment section , Nigeria was torn to shreds and labelled with unmentionable names, a country that is now seen as failed state and a no go country.

There were other cases of similar punishment meted out to suspected criminals and robbers on YouTube.

I have come to the conclusion that there is a curse ravaging the land and many more lives will be claimed if the government does not take control of this precarious situation.

Human life in Nigeria has no value.

The only country were human remains are sold for rituals to both churches, native doctors , business men and politicians to meet diabolical ends.

There is a heartless kind of people in the land, a people consumed with greed , wickedness and hate.

The Christian church has almost but collapsed with its moral flag sullied by the filth of this evil world, the mosque has fared no better with the churning out of more terrorist graduates than those of Pakistan.

The government is steeped in endless corruption with no end in sight , you feel sorry for the poor man, but the problem is the poor man also oppresses his fellow man, misery feeding off misery, the weeds of hatred , envy and bitterness now engulfing the minds of the youth and victims of societal horrors.

Graduates can no longer hope to get a Job 5 years after leaving university , so they turn to sophisticated armed robbery with the aid of the army and police. In the process ordinary citizens who pay their taxes to the state to be protected are instead mown down on a daily basis , in many cases in gruesome circumstances.

There is no police and the army are now pre-occupied with fighting those scum bags in the far north .

What about healthcare ? Don’t make me laugh , roads are a disaster claiming thousands every year.

The blood spill is just too much, non-stop and quite frightening to behold.

When will the Nigerians learn that corruption does not pay, terrorism does not pay, killing suspects before a trial does not pay and siphoning the wealth of the people to overseas account will ruin us all.

Are the politicians listening , I don't think so, what about the church leaders , no way , they are buying jets and exotics cars while their members die in penury, the mosques are the same, the imams cannot check their followers who now see human life as less worth than that of a cow. Blood shed all over the land, the blood of the dead crying out to GOD.

I despair for our nation, it is no more a laughing matter.

If we at least had the humility to admit our mistakes and try and take small steps to change , one can have some little hope, alas we do not see our wrongdoing as evil , instead we blame the next man or woman , everyone else but us.

Sorry to sound this harsh, it’s a brainwave of disgust at the current state of affairs.
