Why should they be afraid when Police is on-top of the situation? Legislative bodies that only react when issue is concerning them most, am sure their fear(s)now is that if SARS of all places are attacked, then their looting enclave will be easy to sink. Meanwhile, the Force Headquarters has dismissed claims by an unknown Islamic sect, Jama’atu Ansarul Muslimina Fi Biladis-Sudan, that it carried out the Monday attack on the Special Anti-Robbery Squad detention facility, describing it as false and a move to deceive Nigerians Let someone nearer help SHUT that Mba's mouth, for how long will they live in self denial? When Oct1 bombing (the begining of bombing) happened even the President debunked the claims of MEND. we always shy away from the truth, and before we know it, police will be requesting funds to fight this new sect. Deputy Force Public Relations Officer, Mr. Frank Mba, who said this in Abuja on Wednesday, stated that the claim by the group was meant to embarrass the government and security agencies as well as instil fear in the people As if they still have iota of reputation remaining to be embarrased The sect had claimed that it released 387 detainees from the SARS facility during the attack on the centre, but the police argued that the facility did not have the space to accommodate up to 300 persons, insisting that the sect was making a spurious claim to buy cheap popularity. I challenge them to name which facility in Nigeria that contain(s) exact human requirement.Even local facility meant for 100 people has more than 2000 unless they still hope we believe their self denial. Congestion is order of the day and its an open secret. Nigerian leadership should rise up and take Bulls by the horns, fight curruption to the later starting from Presidency. its because the Presidency is corrupt that is why even the funds allocated for security/fight crime is being diverted and poorly utilised because the fraudsters know definitely that nothing will happen. Let us stop living in self denial and defence of defensless. 15 Likes |

Exactly the prayers of well meaning Nigerians! Those government jobs need to be made less attractive. Idiots, their lives are more important than the people BH kill daily. No wonder BH have been operating without any hindrance for long. The ordinary citizens' lives do not mean anything to them. Make dem wait, that their fears will soon become prophecy. 1 Like |

How I wish our senators could flip through this nairaland page and see how well their fellow citizens wish them. Perhaps they may have a rethink and do the right things for once. Can't believe that these bunch of unrepentant kleptomaniacs would not have seen this threat coming. We should, for God's sake, keep Nigeria out of the Mali conflict too. Should the Azawad militia's there link with our Boko Haram, forget the National Assembly, even Lagos will no longer be safe too!! |
