The name of the boy in the picture is PAPAL-SAM, my second son. I named him the day the mother delivered him at the hospital. Nothing like eight days ceremony. No pastor, no Alfa, no Herbalist were invited but myself alone and that has been my practice for all my three kids.

It happened that the midwife made a blunder error at the delivering time. The placenter was cut before tighten with tread so there has been slight inflow of air before tightened. This led to scrotal sac swelling up after 1 yr. The response from doctor after complaint was that he would be operated after he becomes one and half years. Yes the time reached for operation but another story happened. This little boy was operated by same doctor three times within two days to the extent of loosing the child. He mistakenly cut the boy's intestine and the boy's tommy turned to like 5months pregnant woman. Seriously indeed!

When my wife called me in PH, i told her fear not. But the doctor refered to UCH Ibadan with emergency to the extent the Ambulance collected N9000. I had to fly to Ibadan but met 5 surgeons examining the boy at the point of death. There was no zeal of emergency to the pathetic condition of the boy. After the examination, it was around 5pm so they discovered if they should risk the operation without extra available oxygen, it may not yield positive. All efforts to get oxygen were abortive until a samaritan offered us a used-remain oxygen to support the boy.

That was around 2am midnight. In the following morning, all the same until 12noon again when the boy could be taken to theater. After over six hours, the doctors came out and baby taken to ICU (Intensive Care Unit) to wait for our fate. But doctor explained that as a result of the previous operation, the baby developed instestinal obstruction. They had to cut over two feet long instestine away and re-sticthed the remaining back.

They confessed that it was indeed a tough experience for them. But surprisingly, they thought the boy will regain consciousness after a week but third day, he opened eyes and called "my mummy".

This baffled the doctors and called him miracle baby. I just thank God that my faith did not disappoint me. If I had approached any pastor for prayer or Alfa or herbalist, they would have taken the glory, or even complicate the problem.
The truth is at the point of carrying him into theater, i shed tears. Not tears of fear but the pain the little boy of one and half was passing through. He could not talk.

He could not even describe how he was feeling? Ah, fatherhood na serious business.
When we returned from UCH, Ibadan people were so furious by the story and lots of money spent. They began to advise that we should sue the doctor and let him face the wrath of law. Well, even 90% of those who gave such advice were chronic born again believer in Jesus. I just looked at them and laughed. What would be my gain if i sue him to court? I told them that I dont reason that way. The doctor also expected something of such because he knew that we have wealthy people, lawyers, professsors etc around us. But i just ignored the advice. He later came to my house to say sorry to the boy. The whole hospital nurses came as well because at the point of conveying the boy with ambulance to UCH, they did not believe the boy will come bacl alive. Wow, I thanks my God.
Today, the boy is bouncing. Many a time, if those people get involve, they will confuse you. But thank Godthat my faith worked wonder.
The lesson is, quack doctors mostly write bad destiny for people. They cause a lot of premature death and ignorant ones will say it is destiny. God does not do evil, and we need to understand God beyond religion.

If i had lost the baby, they will say because i dont believe in Jesus. If I'm a christian, they will say thank you Jesus. This is my testimony! You just have to Believe in yourself, greater is the spiritual force in you.

Dont submit yourself to be deceived at the detriment of your future.

Join me to say praise God. I pray that you shall triumph over your challenges in life.

Thank you very much. Every challenge is a test of level of individual understanding. From the narration, can you see the need of more knowledge and understanding than mere useless prayer. I dont against prayer but it is secondary.

I'd toss out the 'god' part, but great story. I hope there are no permanent long term effects he will suffer as a result? Like does he now require a special diet? And the doctor, what of him? He sounds like someone that just maybe shouldn't be a doctor, depending on his other cases of course.

I am happy for you and your first instinct was the hospital. Mind you, it was God who gave doctors the wisdom to make humans live better lives. God bless your child and you will reap the fruit of your labor

MY FRIEND PLEASE SHUT YOUR MOUTH IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT TO SAY.

IF U WANT TO.TELL A.STORY, TELL IT THE WAY.IT HAPPENED AND STOP BEING CHILDISH.

ONE THING IS CLEAR, THIS IS SOMEONE ELSES EXPERIENCE YOUR CLAIMING, JUST TO DISPLAY YOUR IGNORANCE.

IF THIS THING REALY HAPPENED TO YOU AS YOU.CLAIM, YOU WONT HAVE TIME TO NARATE THE STORY THE WAY YOU DID, TALKLESS OF INSULTING PASTORS OR PRAYERS.

THE DAY THE REAL ONE WILL HAPPEN TO YOU IN PERSON, YOU WONT EVEN.KNOW WHAT.THE INTERNET IS.

hi, I understand you. But, their are differences between an artheist, a God believer and a person who uses common sense. God himself is tired of people who never uses their common sense. And you will see how this man will be rewarded for both believing and using his God given instinct or common sense so to speak. In the bible, we are called God or mini gods, by God himself, and so, I see no reason why a pastor should be superior to those who are his congregation?
Through cheap mistakes and lack of reasoning, a lot of people have fell to negativity acted by these fake pastors. I shall not be gullible, but still, I bliv in the existence of a supreme being who expects us to use our common sense

crap of a country why am i not surprised? When universities keep teaching crap and after 4+ years would be happy to have produced graduates, killers called Doctors. This is just 1 out of the numerous cases of Nigerian doctors carelessness. My aunty had SLE and yet doctors were treating her for typhoid until it had worsened and internal organs were failing. Another case of cancer of the oesophagus being treated as ulcer, until a visiting specialist came and detected she was being treated for the wrong thing. It was late. She passed on. I don't blame the doctor's per say, its the crap of an educational system they went through. You can't give what you don't have.
And the ****** at the helms of affairs don't care, since they can easily fly to Germany even for common cold.

And before some Nigerian apologist comes now and start screaming it happens everywhere, visit UCH,head to LUTH go to LASUTH before commenting.

@Op you are not serious when you started mocking pastors, what do you think about doctors? Aren't them doing their job because God in heaven gave them the zeal to carry on such operation?........ For your information, pastors and doctor works hand to hand because they are doing their Healing Works, curing and fixing human problems through the power of God.

Its a pity. Imagine how mediocrity almost caused an innocent boy,s life. How could the nurse be so stiupidd? Most nurses shouldn't even wear white at all. Black is more suitable for them. As for the doctors, I don't know what to call them.

Before you people start criticizing prayers and pastors, think again. When you find yourself in a situation where you don't know what to do, the best option is to pray.

I see people praising the poster for having common sense. There's nothing his common sense would have done to help him.

What a wonderful story. May God continue to bless you and your child.
This is very inspirational. You never really understand the power of faith until you find yourself in a position where that is all you can rely on.

God is love, God is strength...we just need to trust and believe. kiss
Give your baby a nice warm kiss for Kails. He's truly a survivor...and so are you. smiley

What a wonderful post. God is kind to everybody irrespective of your religion. He still cares for everyone and He saved your son and may His name be praised.

@All, the poster is not trying to say he is not appreciative of what God has done for him, but just saying that "Religious" Nigerians will always be quick to give the glory to their pastors if it had happened to them and trust me, if this guy was a member of a certain church in Nigeria and called his pastor while all these happened, the pastor will be sure of having about 100 new members next sunday cos many readers here will rush there. Because Nigerians go to church just because of what they will gain from God and not to worship Him in true love and spirit. Most Nigerians try to make God look like He is a wicked God, some even believe that if you do not attend a certain church that God will not answer your prayers, NO, He is a benevolent God, He cares for us all. Most(if not all Nigerian pastors) are thieves and very manipulative.

I remember last year around June when my elder sister want to deliver, for almost 72hours the baby refuse to come out those who met her left her there after their delivery, what am i trying to say? My mum call her pastor for prayer the man show up but told my mum that if C.S is a better option will should go for it ( i cried that day), there is one alfa that accomplained her wife to the hospital, the wife met my sister she deliver in less than 5hours, he suggested for us to do 'Sara'/ sacrifice we refuse. To cut the long story short she delivered a bouncing baby boy without perform C.S or the sara/sacrifice. (We turn to God)

NOTE:
Pastor/alfa have access to God likewise us.
