I am practising Preventive Cardiology and Internal Medicine in India. Out of 11 years of experience, I have 9 years in India and 2 in Australia.
Please feel free to ask any questions you may have regarding heart problems, high BP, chest pain(Angina), breathlessness on walking or exertion etc.
I have swollen legs and sometimes palpitation in my heart. there is a big vein on my left shoulder but this is missing on my right shoulder. I have sharp pains on my right side and my urine is sometimes very yellowish and concentrated. i have done all test and came out clean but my legs are swollen and side painful and unable to sleep more than 4 hours every night. Pls help

hello doc. early in the year I started having pains in my heart that some times could be felt in my left arm and neck,I went to see the doctor who prescribed drugs including an anti inflammatory drug.I felt better for some time and it came back.the past few months has been hell.I don't feel it in my arms like before but I have been feeling the pain in my heart.I am 25,I don't drink,don't smoke and I am not fat.I am slim.I need ur advice

wablet: Hello doc, I just discovered my bp is on the rise probably due to excessive drinking which I've put a stop to now. How can I bring down my bp down to the lowest possible level. Now, it hovers around 150/110. The symptom I used to have is a slight headache at the base of my head. Thanks doc

polipompom: Hi doc, I need ur advice. I'm abt 26 yrs of age. Since childhood, I observed d@ without being tensed, I do feel some sort of trembling in my hand. I find it difficult 2 write legibly coz my hand shakes while writing. Doc, recently I also feel some pulse(beat) around my lower abdomen. Though, I'm hale nd hearty, jst worried nd want 2 b sure it wnt lead 2 any health issues in future. Tnx doc.

zelexotunla: Hello Dr. Wishin u merry xmas and happy new year in advance. Pls, here is my problems initially i was told i've malaria when i complained to doctors of chest and stomach heat and pains. Until later dat they told me is ulcer which i av been told to stop drinking and all stuffs. But, i'm experiencing chest pain and heat,back pain and heat as if there is wound at my back down to my waist/pelvic girdle.

Baroba: Hi Dr Sandhu, a bp no of 120/89 is it borderline hypertensive, secondly I engage in extreme cardio exercise whereby my HR shoots up to 188 and then drops, are there any dangers associated with this sort of exercise. Am worried of any long term damage this might cause to the heart. My father died of myocardial infarction last year aged 65..

second question please, my father in law has been diagnosed with CHF, he is suffering from SOB, peripheral oedma,extreme exhaustion, and vomiting. He is 60yrs old, he is presently been treated by a renowned cardiologist in Enugu. I just need to know what the prognosis are, can it be cured or just managed. Thanks for your help Dr.
