Note that so many people have mistaken Akathriel Yah Yehod for an Angel, HE is not an Angel but the Supreme God, The Creator of all existence. The meaning of Akathriel is "The Crown of The Source of The Whole of Existence and The Lord of Hosts"

A) In that moment spake Akatriel Yah Yehod Sebaoth and said to Metatron, the Prince of the Presence: "Let no prayer that he prayeth before me return (to him) void. Hear thou his prayer and fulfil his desire whether (it be) great or small". Forthwith Metatron, the Prince of the Presence, said to Moses: "Son of Amram! Fear not, for now God delights in thee. And ask thou u thy desire of the Glory and Majesty. For thy face shines from one end of the world to the other". But Moses answered him: "(I fear) lest I bring guiltiness upon myself". Metatron said to him: "Receive the letters of the oath, in (by) which there is no breaking the covenant" (which precludes any breach of the covenant).

B) Also known as Hyosk'Naariel Tatrasiel Kerubiel Zaksakiel Oppaniel Segushiel Seraphiel when he wishes to be less formal. Which he does not.

The Unquestioned. No thing knows what he does, but all bow before him.

Angel of the Lord Most High, Great Crown Prince of Judgment over all Hosts, Name of the Godhead Manifest on the Throne of the Almighty.

He is the most dazzling of the Lord's angels. His entire body is said to be covered with stars, which are in fact, his eyes: He has sixteen faces and 8,760 eyes, each watching an hour of the year. His eyes are sparks of light, and his lashes are lightning bolts. from his feet up to his knees he emits the light of the firmament, from his knees up to his thighs the light of the morning star, from thighs to waist shines the light of the moon, from waist to neck the light of the sun, and from his neck to the top of his head, the Infinite Light. Thunder and earthquakes are the constant companions of the breath of his nostrils and the splendor of the Shekinah shines upon him. There is a crown of holiness on his head, and the breadth of creation could rest between his shoulders. Yah Yehod is about seven Heavens tall. He is also said to be constantly shedding tears of meteoric fire and any Ymerae who looks at one of his faces is instantly reduced to ash. In fact, there are special orders of Angels trained since their creation to one day look upon the face of Yah Yehod and try and guess his intentions. There is a separate Celestial order trained to interpret the scattering of their remains.

The only being known to have stared upon him and lived is Lucifer, whose Pride at his own defiance had him meet the Gaze of his Accuser. All at the Trial were shocked silent, not the least of which Metatron, whose throat had been stabbed through by the Former Prince of Light in the opening moments of his Rebellion.


*Note that; it is only the "Supreme God" that has that quality as specified above i.e (No celestial entity can behold or gaze at Akathriel, for they shall be instantly reduced to ashes. Not even Metatron - The king of the spirit & the Angel of presence. And again, why would Akathriel be termed "The Unquestioned"? Why would "All bow before him" if HE isn't the supreme? - Think!

D) Elisha ben Abuya, one of the 4 sages that visited Heaven during their lifetime reported: "When I ascended into Paradise I beheld Akatriel JHWH, Lord of Hosts, at the entrance, and 120 myriads of ministering angels surrounded him." Kabbalistically, Akatriel is the name of the godhead as manifested on the throne of Glory. (Note that 1 myriad = 10,000. 120 myriads = 120 x 10,000 = 1,200,000 Million Angels.)



E) It was taught: “Rabbi Ishmael ben Elisha said: I once entered into the innermost part [of the Sanctuary] to offer incense and saw Akathriel Yah, Adonai of hosts, seated upon a high and exalted throne. God said to me, ‘Ishmael, my son, bless Me!’ I replied, ‘May it be your will that your mercy may suppress your anger and your mercy may prevail over your other attributes, so that you may deal with your children according to the attribute of mercy and may, on their behalf, stop short of the limit of strict justice!’ And God nodded to me with His head.
