55th Grammy Awards Nominations by wildchild1: 6:51pm On Dec 07, 2012
The nominations for the 55th Grammy Awards, which will be held at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on February 10, 2013, have been revealed.

Mumford & Sons pick up six nominations
Leading the pack are Frank Ocean, Mumford & Sons, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Black Keys member Dan Auerbach and fun. who all scored six nominations each.

fun. are in the running in the four major prize fields - Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist, while Ocean picked up nominations for Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Best New Artist.

Mumford & Sons have scored nominations for Album of the Year, Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song, Best Short Form Video and Best Song Written for Visual Media.

Jay-Z and Kanye West picked up nominations for tracks from their collaboration Watch the Throne.
