you dont know how to read stocks...........i am even praying that fbn falls to #3.00 so i can go in.The truith is that stocks need to fall between now and month end..........by next month, most stocks will form a resistance level waiting for nine months results by october.........by october dont expect bears but bulls will resurface untill december/january when you will see the mother of bulls which will run thru out the first quater of 2016.

Good talk. I don't see FBNH going down that much. It has been punished enough by the market. The only way now may likely be UP, marginally though.

TA thots on FBN
- investors are eager for a breakout or reversal
- SP touched 52 week low on Aug 15 but closed higher forming a hammer indicating a possible reversal
- FF days were full of indecision forming some level of support above N3.00
- Strong volumes 2 trading days
- MACD is tending towards signal line but trading below zero line (bearish zone)
- RSI indicating its oversold supporting a long position
- Last time FBN touched N3.00 was ard March 31. Its found support & cruised its way to N4.50 levels were it met strong resistance
- It's back at the same support level .I'm not sure it going to drop below N3.00 but we wait and see.

My advise: buy the support , sell the resistance (gradually ohh)

FO Fans
- some good news , a developing positive divergence over the last 4 months
- SP forming lower lows , while MACD forming higher lows.
- MACD also sloping towards to zero line
- RSI also out of oversold region and sloping upwards
- the bearish momentum or sentiment is at its tail end
- recent entrants et al shud be patient
- low downside risk but not a guarantee towards a bullish
- This is not a bullish signal also
- SP is still below major MA's and zero line (wh is bearish)

#justObserving

Disclosure:
- This is not a buy signal , I do not have any FO shares

Revisiting Transcorp

- opened higher and closer higher on a 30m + volume (above avg)
- money flow spiking up
- bearish pull back slow down
- all signs of reversal
- JIJO players in full game mode here !
- not for kids

Note:
- offers can turn to full bid & vice versa in a blink of an eye

Revisiting Access (Post Q2)
- +ve Q2 beating estimates
- immediate bullish posture from dividend & Q2 results
- Simple dividend logic applying here. Dividend Na Dividend, so price is key (GTB N25.62 & Zenith N15.77)
- all indicators turned +ve
- prev 52 week high was N6.50 .
- mkt will be watching that level . . . along with closure & post closure
- #bargain

UBA is enjoying a speculative ride along

Can you do a DCF (Discounted Cash Flow) analysis? That should help you determine the intrinsic value of any stock.

UW boss

Question: Has $nge bottomed ??

looking at the ETF:
- d etf is trading above that hit a all time low of $4.13
- nge index was worse off in dollar terms compared to Jan (float effect)
- nge hit a all time low of $4.13
- closed yesterday at $4.44
- Macd crossed signal line but under zero line , RSI sloping upwards from oversold region
- Naira hit N365/$ last week but closed stronger due to CBN injections
- parallel market seems more stable in the last 10days trading within 395-400/$ unlike d interbank
- that gap in btw is a big problem
- brent back below $50/bbl (sigh!!!)
-$nge top holdings remain d same: (NB 19.49% , GTbank 12.11% , Nestle 2.53% , Zenith 7.26%, DangCem 5.42% , Access 5.11%, UBA 4.81%)

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-08-23/world-s-worst-currency-slump-starts-to-glean-rewards-for-nigeria

In the past two weeks, Exotix Partners LLP and Standard Bank Group Ltd. have told clients, most of whom fled after the country started imposing capital controls from late 2014, that they should start buying naira assets again. The worst-performing currency this year among more than 150 globally has depreciated 38 percent against the dollar since the central bank abandoned its peg on June 20, while bond yields have jumped to more than 20 percent. The naira strengthened 3.6 percent to 318 per dollar on Tuesday after falling to a record 350.25 on Aug. 19.

“The cheap naira is attracting foreign investors,” said Lutz Roehmeyer, a money manager at Landesbank Berlin Investment, which oversees about $12 billion of assets. “At 325 per dollar, the naira is too weak” and Landesbank anticipates a rebound, he said

I feel for you because I know the present situation of this country. and believe me when I say at the end of a storm, there'll be sunshine. There's light at the end of the tunnel, your tunnel is just longer than most.

If you can make it through the night, there is a brighter day in the morning. You shall overcome.

Try to use the stocks you have to make money for the longterm.

God help us.

If the certificates are in your name, then take them to a stockbroker (the choice of a Broker will depend on the value of the stocks based on the prevailing market prices), a stock account(CSCS account) will be opened for you by the Broker. The Stockbroker will commence the dematerialization(you will be required to fill some forms, your Banker's confirmation of your signature will be required etc) of the certificates and your CSCS account will be credited with the stocks in electronic form at the completion of the process. It is only in this form that you can trade the stocks. I sincerely hope that some of the stocks have not been delisted.

I hope this helps. Thanks.[/quote

Good morning sir,
Yes, the certificates are in my names I bought them when I had the money and because people where were buying without knowing what I was doing at that time.
I have dangote sugar, zenith, transcorp, japaul and acess. I do not have a stock broker and I don't know one. I am not also sure if any of the certs have been delisted. I will appreciate if you can help me by guiding me further.

The equity price of ZENITH INTERNATIONAL BANK PLC was adjusted today 23rd of August 2016 for an interim dividend of N0.25 as recommended by the board of directors. The last close price was N15.77, hence the ex-div price N15.52. Please be guided accordingly.
