whenever dollar/naira stabilize for three month in a stretch I will start buying in tranches.
This forum has given me enough wealth seeds to become wealthy.
It will be sheer 'stiupeidiity' for me not to have a VISION.
I will also target Dollar transition during 2019 run up to elections.
Planning far ahead and modifying your plan as time changes is the golden key.

A wave of political pressures may have forced the emergence of a new order in the nation’s foreign exchange market even as currency speculators abandon their positions with losses going up to N45 billion and more. shocked

Inter-bank interest rates have also spiked to all time high with potent threat to other interest rates including lending.

Nigeria’s local currency, Naira, appreciated to a 14-week high of N455/USD1 yesterday in the parallel market segment of the currency market at the backdrop of a week old new foreign exchange market measures rolled out previous weekend by the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.

With N72 billion, 16 banks funded $220 million Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) allocations under the Forex Forwards policy meant to stabilise the naira, it was learnt yesterday.

Banks are calling for bids from retail end-users in preparation for the business travel allowances, school fees and medical bills auction. The CBN is expected to from tomorrow begin releasing weekly forex cash (every Tuesday) to commercial and merchant banks to meet needs at retail end of the market.

The lenders are informing customers interested in buying Personal and Business Travel Allowances, and paying school fees and medical bills about requirements for getting forex.

A CBN Financial Markets Department report released yesterday showed that 10 banks, which could not be identified as at press time, with N54 billion funded $162 million Forex Forwards for 30-day tenor maturing March 27. The wholesale intervention rate was between N330 and N335 to the dollar.

Six banks, also unnamed, funded $58.52 million Forex Forwards for 60-day tenor, maturing April 25 with N18.6 billion. The wholesale intervention rate was between N315 and N320 to the dollar. smiley

Poor. 1.77 dividend when the inflation rate is 18.7... UCAP did better. that is about 11% return on dividend

Poor? with a yield of 11%? ucap's yield was just 13% when results came in. Besides this is better, albeit by 2k, than the traditional 1.75 from zenith.

Bros a div of 1.55 at N12 is roughly 12.9% yield. A div of 1.77 at N15 is roughly 11.9%. So what exactly are you on about? undecided

Tell me the truith. Were you able to offer your customers xmas hampers last year?Did you not make adjustment applying the present economic hardship in your business?Have you been faithful in your tithe payment ever since this downturn began?
Zenith bank in their history has not paid up to 2.00 dividend until now.Bros, why are behaving like this?I thought i am more greedy than every other person here.I dont know that the father of greedness is in our midst......you are like the servant who was given one talent and he buried it because his eyes was on the one who was given 5 talents.
I f your plan is to drive the stock backwards,i tell you,you will not succeed and if zenith shares fail to respond to this result and dividend, then your portfolio is in trouble because those ones you have may not do up to zenith.
I only need 15 kobo from fcmb.I dont want my bank to go bankrupt.Pls stop it.

You noticed. Broke N15 early , but the sellers came in strong and filled all d bids & pushed back below
looks like a slight dividend trap ! But let's see if buyers turn up before closing

44m traded !
