There are levels to this thing considering the $Ote factor wink
EPS is 6.42 which is not a far cry from 8.00
However, I believe it is a strong statement of the belief of the Board that the Company will maintain the upward trajectory and continue to make profit... grin

During the stock crash in the year of 2002, I bought over 1million units of Equity assurance now SunuAssurance @ almost N2m. I was trapped for over 12 year only to sell for less than N200k. I don't buy ye ye again. Dangote and Uba. I even picked some this morning at 68.05 dangote sugar, 22.95 Uba.

In as much as the future holds, there is no yeye stock.

Nahco was once a yeye stock trading at sub #1.
Today it is pa Emma best stock.
Transcorp we all know as a yeye stock at 88kobo even cp used to laugh at us then @ Transcorp but today everyone is scrambling for it.
Even Japaul is moving out as a yeye stock.

In summary if there is no value in your investment today, tomorrow there will be value.Just make sure the company is alive and meet up the NSE corporate governance.
Turnaround is inevitable.

Possible...

2024 appears unusual to me, for the following reasons:

1) Otedola buying stakes in Dangote cement in the first month of the year
2) Impending emergence of Dangote foods, which has scores to settle with Buafoods
3) Determination of TE to push up the price of Transcorp (no one knows his destination yet)

These are some of the reasons I wasn't convinced I should sell in Jan 2024. I thought those are signs of more upside potential this year

My problem with our market is it is always in a fast lane.

Market should learn to crawl like snail.By so doing, pullback will also toll same step.

Nahco never missed dividend payment since it was listed almost 20 years ago, so it can't be referred to as a yeye stock

This one everybody is putting hope on Dangote Foods, I hope the results don't dissapoint based on the current price. I am also holding this stock, but i hate over expectations. We all know why BUA is rising, which is due to free float.

What happens if FX affects the PAT for Dangote foods

lwkd.i was believing additional thing to push it up to #20.00 from 2023 results. At first I was planning to take it out of stock market to bond market. I was hoping to see 18% percent too in fixed income base on the steady rise in inflation
