On its way to Jigawa State en route from Kano, the convoy of President Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday ran into hundreds of protesting youths who hauled missiles at it in the ancient city. see http://naijasense..com for more info What does this portend for the Third term seekers? This reminds me of a quote from Mr Girja Prasad Koirala from Nepal I quote: "If the King does not listen to the voice of the people, i can only say, 'God save the King'," What is your Take on this? |

Funny how none of the newspapers are calling this an "ATTACK" like they did when people came to protest (they were only holding placards and chanting NOT STONING) against Abubakar in Lagos. |

Igwe, you should still respect them. They shouldn't listen and portray only one opinion. As they say they should listen to both sides of the story. Be tolerant |

This is a must read article. Please read http://nigeriaworld.com/feature/publication/peterside/042406.html and then think twice. |

omoifa: Good article, but it must be clear that Nigerians cannot stomach another third term for Obasanjo or any governor. There are thousands of others who can do all those reforms and continue with his programme. I just dont understand why he thinks only him can handle Nigeria. Please there are several out there who can do what he has done. Truth be told, Obsanjo has done well in some areas, that i'll argue with anyone anyday. But he has to leave, |
