Stock market:to gamble cos you might start the day broke,by afternoon you're quite bouyant and broke again within minutes just the way it is on the real stock market.
I really enjoyed my days in ago-iwoye/ijebu-igbo...tho e no easy but I wouldn't have schooled anywhere else.

Enough slangs, but my favourite is, 'Igi Iwe, Eso odo' (literarily means, 'tree of books, fruits of failures') used to describe, someone always seen with books but ends up failing! And not forgetting 'risky burger' (fried egg and bread) men I too chop am no b small at Fajuyi hall upper buttery grin cheesy

SIS- means semester is short
Shunting- when someone wants to cheat on a queue
Pepper & sepe [PPCP]- d nick for a dept in school
Animal boys and gals - nick for dept Animal Breedin & Genetics
O taa lenu - means correct
24- eg i dey go 24 meanin i'm goin to read in d library
Fatai - rep F9
O fe gba gown - u want to graduate before ur time
Another one is cross the lawn and graduate
FH - female hostel or father's house
Sosoliso- a nick for one of our condemned school buses that is stil been used
WRO - Weyrey re o,popularly used among my clique
Jinadu - a dull person
Iya Charlie - meanin i want to poo e.g i wan go visit iya charlie
La kram la pour - means kramin for a test so as just to pass,den deletin it off ur memory
Let my people go - givin one a pass mark just to free him from carryover

Igbo- carry over
Ose igberaga- First few weeks of resumption when u have enough cash to spend as opposed to Iree igbeyin: towards exam period wen all u wanna do is finish the damn exam and go home cos u ar broke.
Photocopy: copying a friends assignment.
Rufus Giwa Poly, Owo Ondo State(HND)
La cram la pour(also crammer's rule): this means reading(cramming) just to pas exams and forgetin everytin afterwards.
Poly igbehin: tail end of the semester wen u ar almost/virtually broke.
Iwe factorial!: used to tease a student whom u thinks dat he reads too much.
Catch dem young: a term used amongst guys wen post UTME tests and HND entry exams are written to accomodate girls without acomodation, so that they could be their gal friends if they were admited.

Prof- someone who is fond of challenging lecturer(d̶̲̥̅̊ε̲̣̣̣̥γ̲̣̣̥ usually get to spend extra years in skul)
Lolo/lele- gay/lesbian
Obtain- to collect by force
Maduako- a garden close to the largest female hostel(c) where you will always see someone no matter the time of the day.

Take these from fabulous FUNAAB(Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta)

S.I.S meaning Semester Is Short. We use it to remind ourselves of the shortness of the semester.

Cross the Lawn and Graduate - Funaab is almost covered wt well trimmed and beautiful lawns. The mgt values it than anything. They made us to fear crossing it.

Grammy - that's what we call carry over. We ask ourselves... How many grammy do u have?
