There was a fire outbreak at the extension by arrival hall of the Muritala Mohammed Int'l Airport, Lagos today. Cause of fire by an eyewitness was from some cables, which apparently melted under heat. This led to a blackout in the airport terminal while fire fighters deployed swiftly in the affected area to quench the inferno. They were able to put the situation under control while securitymen erected a metal barricade around the site.
