Now i'm a fierce critic of stuff like this but i must say after withnessing it i'm quite impressed..so my advice let cities like lagos, port harcourt and abuja stop their canivals and just leave it for calabar, so we will know calabar is nigeria's tourism destination. Like rio canival in brazil. Cities like sao paulo and brazillia don't do carnivals. Congrats calabar.

Also, as beautifull as all this fancy colourfull atire's are the canival will do well with more of nigerian culture like masquerades and traditional dancers from all around the country.

No pictures there are from internet. These are all from Calabar festival if you watched your DSTV. I guess the pictures dont look good enough for Calabar festival or you are too shocked to realized that Calabar Festival will soon become pure like Barbados and Brazil kind of Street Party ? Nah, it is not some village cultural festival like yours. It is a world class carnival and street party. With import from other world carnivals.
