You dont need VPN again... subscribe to MTN bis.... change or create blacberry.net apn then you are good to go....... remember mtn bis now has data cap... monitor ur downloads.... Cheers. |

for real...  I know this worked some months back until MTN sort of blocked blackberry.net apn from working...! I know for certain the blackberry.net apn connects now...but never actually thought it would work...! well, only one way to be sure, give it trial  |

OK so I decided to try Mtn bis. subscribed for the complete weekly plan I installed to install setdns . set it to Google DNS. it worked..... for 2mins. then stopped now its not working......... at all. unfortunately I also don't own a BlackBerry. so my 500 bucks is wasted? fook it |

When i tried to apply the setdns app, i got "setdns not active(none)". pls what could be the issue? And the network option at the top says no network.. I am using an android tablet with external 3g modem though |

If you are having issues with the DNS, i'll advise that you go for Driodvpn. Just select ICMP and enter your Login details ( You have to register). To get unlimited service you'll need to upgrade to premium. You could mail me up on chike.louis@yahoo.com Thanks |

@ Op actually its hit -or - miss. i THINK i know why and when it MAY work........ will do some investigation when i get time. and no im pretty sure it wont work for everybody at once. MTN has removed everyone from a static IP, even the DNS is no longer the same for everyone. thats why DroidVPN started working again. i guess the savvy ones should get what im driving at. i just dont have any motivation for this thing anymore. spectranet business plans is unlimited and free for me anyways |
