Why Has Jonathan Not Visited Maiduguri And Damaturu???? by KnowAll(m): 2:21pm On Dec 31, 2012
[b]I am surprised that our commander-in-chef has not visited some parts of his domain. He has not been to Borno and Yobe State from my re-collections. Barack Obama has gone to Afghanistan several times, same thing David Cameron. Why is Mr President running away from these two states. Are these states still part of Nigeria, Abi oga Jonathan dey fear for in life, na wah oh . Visiting a war torn or in Nigeria's case a strife turn area is to instill confidence on the many Nigerians posted to such places out of no choice of theirs. Example of people posted who cannot say NO are members of the security apparatus(Army , Navy and Air-force officers and Nigerian Police Personnel) and the other group of personnel posted are Customs and immigration officers.

The President visiting these personnel at their place of work would not only instill confidence on them but it would give the personnel a sense of fulfillment and an equal stakeholding in 'PROJECT-NIGERIA' whereby intuitively their efforts would be seen as been acknowledge at the nations top office.

But as it were, the President running scared of visiting Maiduguri and Damaturu, has shown he is not ready to be the C-in-C of the whole nation but a collection of some selected states. The President would have visited Bayelsa more than 20 times since he became Mr President, looks like GEJ is contented with being the C-in-C of Bayelsa State. Let us just thank God that Mr C-in-C of Bayelsa decided to stay behind in Abuja, when that ill fated Helipcopter took off from Bayelsa, Nigerians would have woken up the next day to read their Baylesa Junketing President has met his waterloo in a Heliocopter crash

You and your scare crowed C-in-C should vacate that seat and let real men take over. Even OBJ who is not the President went to Maiduguri to negotiate. Your scared crow President with all the security apparatus around him no get liver to step out of Aso Rock except when he visits Bayelsa. If Mr President cannot stand the heat, he should get out of the kitchen, been the President of a country is not a 'boys scout' jamboree, can someone let Mr President know this. Mr Presidnet should also know that come 2015, it is only Bayelsa votes that will give him the Presidency, ?
