Cameroun is a force to reckon with in African sports especially in football. They did not just dominate the game on the field of play but also in the decision making rooms of the continent,s football house. It is quite suprising that cameroun seems never to have hosted any major competition in the past be it the nations cup, all African games, Africa youth championship or even the African football awards. I m quite curious to know why, even poorer countries have hosted major events in recent times. Your views? |

Considering the fact that CAF president is a camerounian who has championed the cause for the development of sporting infrastructures in Africa and hitherto encouraged and poorer nations like Gabon, equatorial guinea etc to build world class infrastructures and even host the nations cup. I guess charity they say begins at home. 1 Like |
