KOGI Speaker Involved in Serious Accident.
**Police Escort was killed instantly.

The Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Lawal Jimoh, was involved in another ghastly motor accident, which killed a police escort instantly.

Jimoh was travelling to his home town in Okene, according to reports, when a heavy duty truck ran into his escort van at Osara, along Okene road.

The Speaker’s vehicle, was however not affected in the accident, but a police corporal Lamidi Akeem, who was in the affected vehicle, gave up the ghost at a hospital on Thursday.

Austin Akubo, the Speaker’s Chief Press Secretary, confirmed the incident and emphasised that Jimoh’s car was not affected in the crash.
