Since according to this report they are the majority in voting strengths, higher than the indigenous Hausas and other resident ethnic groups.

Speaking earlier, the coordinator of the Neighbour to Neighbour, the organisers of the programme, Ambassador Jerry Sunny Ugokwe, said the Igbos outside the South-east zone had the capacity to determine the next election, especially the presidential election.

According to him, “going by the just released voter register, the Igbos in Kano State represent 40 per cent of the voting populace, while they are 35 per cent in Plateau and 30 per cent of the registered voters in Kaduna State.”

I think the best thing that can happen to the Hausa/Fulani is to allow Igbos rule them. The next governor in Kano must wear red cap.

Surely, you are not Igbo. In a region Igbo are been killed in large numbers and the only thing you can proffer is to be Governor of Kano state.
Dude, stop it.

Lol, who will bell the cat? I don't think that any right thinking individual would take such risk.

And if possible at all, that would be the best thing that will happen to a state.

By 2015....an Igbo man must contest the governorship election in Kano...Igbo must show their numerical strength..-at least with 40% population, they can force a rerun of the election at worse

Cant some people comment without bringing tribal sentiments into posts? There is more to life than mere tribalism.

The chap is not representing Ndigbo in Kano. Ndigbo in Kano has a branch of Ohanaeze in that state and they are the ones to be taken seriously. At this moment, it hasn't come from them.
When yorubas make similar assumptions, you don't take it seriously, even here in Nairaland-Musiwa, the most popular Yoruba poster makes worse assumptions. Such as western Niger is bigger than the entire north. Yet you do not comment over those issues. Why Ndigbo?.

But some Igbos also denied the ohaneze as shown in that picture. Igbos said those Ohaneze are not representing Ndigbos

So who do we believe
Mr Igbokwe, Ohaneze , Andre uweh, tomakint or Abadaba

Mr Osiris, even the photograph you inserted here are not Igbo people, but Hausas trying so hard to win Igbo support.
The chap in question only aired his personal view.

And this is half of the entire Igbo population in Lagos that came to pay their respect to Oju Iku at the TBS. Notice the empty seats and scanty ground. Igbos make up 98% of Lagos.

The second picture is a Yoruba carnival in Lagos which I guess people from Osun and Ekiti travelled all the way to attend

Re: Igbo Man Should Be The Next Govornor In Kano. by AndreUweh(m): 11:05pm On Jan 07, 2013
@Geez. Ojukwu's lying-in-state at Abuja and Lagos was not made for the public, so scanty crowd was expected. Compare that to the public one here

^^ Where is that?

isnt that in the East

So ojukwu getting crowd in the east is big news?

Because his lying-in-state was declared public. Elsewhere no.
