As the Kings-Tourney is on its way of rounding up,

We welcome you to the first official Nairaland "King-Of-Poet" tourney.

Note:- This is a Topical Battle tourney,in which in various rounds(ranging to the finals) Two Textcees will be paired and given a Topic ,they both are to drop their verses which must be in accord to the said topic given.

.(Note- -This aint a 'battle',shots won't be fired.
It'll be judged on whose verse is more in accord with the topic).
The winner (picked by the judges) will proceed on to the next round.

Netcees should note that their verses for the said topic given should be based on the following criteria in which it'll be judged.



Creativity-- (default)
Entertainment-- (depending on the theme)

Rhyme Scheme-- (default)

I think you guys should increase the number of Lines to 20 ..what kind of story can be fully passed across with 14 lines ...and explain well...are we gonna write the lines the way we write battle lines? I.e 4 lines will be seen as one or is it one line equals to one line?
