Nice one Keshi, you as a coach must motivate your players into believing they're the best and that they can defeat any team, if you don't, who will? I believe in Keshi and the team even though some of the players wouldn't have made it if i was the coach, all in all, Keshi, i'm a fan of the SE for now. |

This concept of giving Mikel license to bomb forward when he deems fit will lead to tears. We all need to get used to the fact that Mikel is a HOLDING MID-FIELDER and not a creative or flair mid-fielder. This team looks a bit inexperienced, we need the better players to exhibit positional discipline and not give them fancy free roles in the team based on fantasy. Mikel should be instructed to sit in front of the defence and break up play. That's what he does week in week out in England. Keshi should have faith in the other midfielders to be creative otherwise, we'd get a disjointed team that would get knocked out once they meet a decent side. |

I remember in 1994 just before the Nation cup, steven keshi in an interview (also made the cover page) on African soccer M magazine said and i quote 'WE ARE CHAMPION' and that year we won the Nation cup. While i don't believe the present set of player can win the Nations cup as in 1994, I am a stronge beliver in Steve keshi and i wish him and member of our senior national team the best of luck. It will also help if we as Nigerian start having a little faith in our team and coach. |

All those criticising the Eagles because of their performance against cape verde will know how good this team is when the tournament starts in south africa. I believe they,ll excel and i pity south africa in their opening match against cape verde.. There are four teams to beat in south africa..and they are.. Ghana Ivory coast Nigeria Cape verde... Defending champion zambia and their coach wont know what hit them....watch this space |

I dont think I will compare this team to the 94 team for any reason yet! But when Stephen Keshi says something good can be expected from his team, I have no choice but to give him benefit of the doubt. Keshi himself was a great footballer and just has to know what he is talking about. Even if we dont win this tournament I just want a good outing for the following players so that they can get good transfer to better teams as they can form the nucleus of our future Eales.
