Spokesman of the president, Dr Reuben Abati, told the Nigerian Tribune on Monday that Mrs Jonathan was hale and hearty and was in the Presidential Villa. “Everybody saw her in the church on Sunday,” he said, adding that the First Lady was not being flown abroad as reported. The online site, Sahara Reporters, had stated on Monday that Patience Jonathan had been flown to Germany, few days ahead of what it called her scheduled trip to Spain for medical reasons. |
