Sure, helicopters can crash anywhere. This one hit something though.

It didn't just fall out of the sky.

Bulshiit

What makes you think the helicopter couldn't have fallen from the sky even when the weather visiblity was 2 kilometers when the crash occurred ? Fyi,Boeing is having serious issue with its dreamliner 787 and if not properly managed could result into a disaster.shiit happens everywhere and human error is not restricted to Nigeria.

Symphony007: Two people died and eleven people injured. It's a sad story, it was a mistake and clumsy as there was a thick fog over london and the pilot was flying too low and hit a crane on a skycraper without seeing it. It's sad and thankfully no oned died cause that is an extremely busy part of london especially at rush hour.
lol ur post wnt kill me. Two people died and eleven people injured and at d end of ur coment we have..It's sad and thankfully no oned died. Bros na watin na?

gulfer: Are you gainfully employed 'there' or are a street sweeper?
.

Ha ha ha! For starters, street sweepers are gainfully employed and don't do scam to soil our name even further.

Assuming a street sweeper earns £6 an hour (I think nobody earns that little these days), and works 10 hours daily for 22 days a month = £1320
Assuming tax & NI deductions amount to 25%, his net income = £990. Not a lot agreed. But he can get around £700 extra as tax credit if he has kids as a matter of right.

So total: = £1690 per month. If he's not extravagant, he can put away around £800 monthly = over N200,000.

In 5 months he can buy a cheap plot of land in Ikorodu or Badagry.

So those of us who spent donkey's years doing degrees here and earn higher (and pay MUCH higher taxes) may not be as thrifty as the street sweeper. While he may not buy land in Lekki (he can around Ibeju-Lekki if he's patient), he can still do tangible things.

So the mentality of looking down on people because of their work is silly really.

arabaribiti: hope no life is lost

In a crash of this magnitude, the passengers and pilot on board have a very, very slim chance of escaping death. Mind u, it burst into flames as it touched the ground.

Behind every sarcasm or joke is a subtle expression of belief. So this kind of sarcasm is rather frequent on this forum.
