In my own opinion i think the team is just average in terms of team play and overall tactical display besides the players show a lot of inexperience with their tackles and less finese especially the defenders. I dont blame them one bit afterall they were strung together with little or no playtime together, they have an ultimatum from NFF to win the cup or Keshi gets sacked then we hire a new coach who strings together a new team with the same average players or new average players. Well we shall see how far we go.. |

Now the maths and the prayers has commeence. ***Runing to the market to get my calculator*** . . If Ethiopia draws with Mukina Faso and Zambia draws with Mukina Faso and we win our Math against Ethiopia, Nigeria will qualify. 2 Likes |

Super Eagles performance toady is an improvement on their first match which is a progress on the entire rebuilding process. Keshi has only been Eagles coach for one year and I believe it has been good so far. Siasia should never have been sacked. The kind of impatient Nigerians exhibited when Siasia failed to qualify is the same they are exhibiting now. Nigeria has sacked a lot of coaches (foreign and local), thereby putting the new ones taking over under undue pressure. Shuabu Amodu qualified for two world cups and nations cups too, yet he was branded as lacking coaching skills. He was not allowed to go to the world cups he laboured for. There was this world cup qualifying campaign when Bonferee Jo was the coach and Nigeria had lost hope as Ghana were at the top of the table, then Bonferee Jo was sacked and Nigeria needed to win the remaining three matches home and away. Shuabu Amodu came and won them all, then he was booted out for finishing third at the nations cup, he was denied the opportunity of going to world cup. May be NFF needs to go and beg Amodu for forgiveness. A lot of people complaining here should be patient for a new team to be rebuilt. Some of the players we see today will not be good enough in two years time, and some better players will come to strenthen the team. The USA '94 team was built over a period of 5 years by Westerhof. 80% of Nigeria players are playing their first major tournament, it can be difficult. After two years, the players will be more confident and commanding, and also the entire team play will gain cohesion. |

Musa played rubbish. A real minus one. But nothing anybody can do about that because the quota system must be adhere to strictly-at least all major tribes must be on the field while nigeria play even at the detriment of our collective progress. God have mercy on this JOKE called NIGERIA. |

My honest opinion -- Zambia didn't deserve that penalty. As much as I get a good feeling whenever Nigeria loses or comes up short, this particular one doesn't feel so good. I don't know why. 1 Like |

Positives from d match: The defense played A LOT better in this match, in comparison to our 1st game. Mikel, apart from d penalty miss, had a good game. He, alongside Emenike, will surely make CAF's team of the tournament. 1 Like |

That was a valid penalty bro..Maybe you need to save your act of patriotism for #Occupy Nigeria quest. Did you see Onazi lost the ball and was trying to clip on the guy who's obviously through on goal. In fact a blind man would know its a penalty cause the 2 players were completely backing each other so tell me what happened to the Zambians if no one had tried to clipped him! Abrantie: My honest opinion -- Zambia didn't deserve that penalty. As much as I get a good feeling whenever Nigeria loses or comes up short, this particular one doesn't feel so good.
