Some English Words You Prolly Never Come Across Or Heard Off But Are Hardly Used by DonaldGenes(m): 9:44pm On Jan 27, 2013
I was almost taken aback when my small cousin came to me," uncle pls what is the feminine name for the following words?
Masculine. Feminine
*Charles ?
*shepherd. Shepherdess( To God who made me i have never come across this)sounds a tad bit old fashion to my ears,
*Author. Authoress(has anyone ever use this word before? If "No"Then who the heck just wake up and came up with this thrash then?
*Paul. Paulina(what has adding lina got to do with a female for Christ sake)

*Christian Christiana( please how can we ever use christina for a born again sister, sounds so grossly grosteque to me!gosh

So if that is the case, I want to come up with my own..how then shall we call a female Nairaland then?

Pls someone should educate me more if. Prolly you have?

It has also been my observation that our people don't take a good look at these words: director-directress; manager- manageress and actor- actress . Uncle, urs writing is grammatically incorrect: small cousin instead use determiner 'little' because small is not a determiner.
