"A statement was made by an unknown author:
There is no such thing as Cold, only a lack of Heat.
There is no such thing as Darkness, only a lack of Light.
There is no such thing as Evil, only a lack of God".

Its is a proven fact. Just as there is no cold except lack of heat and there can't be death except the lack of life, there is also no evil except the lack of a God, because the two can't just exist together. There can't be cold and heat together, or life and death, so there can't be a perfect God in an imperfect world, a good God in an evil world or a loving God controlling a cruel world.

Nature speaks against the existence of a God.

because a fact is something that can be shown to be true according to encarta english dictionary. Now proven fact means that it has been shown to be true.
And why is it that it is the wordings that you can attack and the statement itself? is it because that is true?
