Didn't want to derail and hijack the thread.
It's more appropriate on here.

A good indicator of a man's feelings for a lady, is when she brings out the poet in him.

I fantasise so much about you
I always gasp whenever I look at that beautiful face.

Oh Mercy, what manner of spell have you cast on me from afar?

Even as I type, I can feel the magnetic force
I can feel your body yearning for my touch
I can feel those sumptuous, succulent and soft lips yearning for ours to lock...

I feel handicapped
I feel my soul mate is far away
Oh lord...
How can I get hold of this strawberry of a lady?

I pray that you'll be there
When I close my eyes
Maybe in my dreams, tonight!

You don't want to know how much I know.

Baby, whatever you think you know doesn't matter.
I know what I feel.

It may be love,
It may be infatuation
It may be whatever.

All I know...
That face alone
Plus her good deeds are driving me nuts!
I want you in my arms.
Only then will you feel the power of what I feel for you.

I could suffocate you with sweetness.
I know me...

And for the record, whatever you think you know about me...
keep it to yourself darling.

Whether true or false,
No amount of reality should spoil this special feelings I have for you.

Let it flow
Let it flow...

I said you don't what to know how much i know, and I insist you don't want to know how much I know.

You should be in church.

Aloha.

But what has 'how much you know', got to do with what I feel for you?

Do I see a correlation?
I don't think so darling.
Anyway, I guess you know better though.

About church?
Evening Mass it is love.

•early love bug.

•hey beautiful! my ninth wonder of the world, and the first in mine..
•you leave me to ponder your thoughts, every time I detect a smile..
•not that I desire you to leave, but I need you to stay here for a while..
•for as long as it takes, long after you've given birth to my child..

•I want the world to know that ah got the best one alive..
and she's there for me even when the earthworms arise..
from beneath the ground, with every intention of causing a stress, storm or a fight..
but we've always survived, making sure to leave blood in sweat form in their eyes..
for every second that they try..

and how we've managed to stay in love without forcing a thing.. I can't bloody explain..
my feelings for you somehow burning within, like my mind's froth with methane..
each time i grace my head with thoughts of you, my mind state disengages..
taking me out of this world, then you make it worse when you embrace me..

but I'm not complaining, to be honest, I wish this mood will last till its evening...
for as long as the sun glistens...i pray that you listen..
for as more of these words trip in, I pray that you're smitten..
taking by surprise for my renditions, chained up in rhythm...

my thoughts clear nd descriptive, not the same boring visions..

I only pray that you think of me, the same way I do, of you..
and if you do, then give me a sign or a clue..
show me how to be in sync all the time with you..

cos it's true that roses are red and Violet is blue..
but let it be known that the sun is incomplete without it's star and it's moon!

WHO HEARS ME-AmosRich
I screamed,but none heard me..
I pleaded,only on deaf ears...
Your weight, it did consume me
Your strength,my fears and tears...

I struggled ...I wept...You subdued me,
I pounded your chest to get to your heart
I shouted in your ears to whisper to your soul
They all felt to you like romantic gestures

You loved my moanings..
Perhaps to you it sounded like pleasure..
You took your time in a rush..
I'm the soul you've forever crushed...

You're the thief that stole my pride...
I'm empty...Should I tell someone?
Would they believe me?
Or would they just blame me??

Sucide...

My mind is in a state of indecisiveness
am i bothered that at this age i dont even know what decisive means..
Just like a burning flame extinguished
my thoughts are all muddled up, putting me in this limbo of anguish..
Moving forward doesn't feel like the best option
but "going back to my roots" has never been my favorite caption..
I journey in my mind sometimes wondering what been successful would feel like
but coming back to reality, this state of paranoia grips me in a lock of bondage- prisonlike..
He tells me "there's a limit to what prayers can do
so you have to man up so thoughts of Sucide don't run up on you..

SHE WAS PIECES
In this world, no one cares about your pains
No friend is interested in your tears
All they want is dough, nay, big dough

I am in tears life is tearing me in pieces
She called for peace only to be pieces
All my gains are they not my pains?
Father maiming his own children like maiming ceremony
Weaklings singing, praising mother's land
Only to get sunk like Titanic's ship, stormed by shameless storm

Harmlessly infants fighting Goliaths
Puppies visiting lion's Den
Littleluns queuing for change only to be changed
Rachael ranting, shouting 'it's this the change we want or get?'

Father making speech: who are these stubborn goats who love sticking to yam?
'My daughter, I no dey vex until you vex me'

This world, no one cares about you except you're big, nay, big daddy
If you're poor Paul, born poor, it's better you think
Think before confronting dear men who say 'How dare you?'
Truly we are born equal but some are more equal than others

I never knew someone can still maimed his own child for calling for peace
She called for peace only to get pieces

There is a power that resides in the heavens,
The king of kings, that feeds the lions and the ravens
The one to whom the lion roars and the rooster crows,
The Lord of the deep whom all serve but none complete knows.
Glory to this great God who does signs and wonders,
His love is endless and his grace knows no borders,
His goodness and mercy to his saints he'll renew,
And even to sinners he'll give salvation and life anew.........

I'm a poet, and I just published a compilation of inspirational poems. They're really amazing, about God and man. Kindly check it out on amazon:

It’s been quite an Age
That I visited this page
Are we still sane?
Is our sanctuary still the same?

Our inks...
Do they resonate?
Our bards
Do they collaborate?

Here I touch
With a stylus
With plus
And no minus

The Sage

A true story put in words...

His skinny tangled legs sprawled ahead, bearing the weight of his xylophone ribs...
The yogi's back leaned against the temple, as if he was trying to make a last contact with the god within

They stood there, the curious crowd, waiting for him to move and prove he was alive
Some said he lay there because he had inhaled too much ganja the other night.

Others waited for a longtime for him to move, then called him names
Some said baba, some said sadhu, some said guru and some said sage

Some got a stick and began to nudge the lifeless body
They got tired and gave up. He had already decided not to budge

He wore clothes of the color saffron, his surprisingly neat beard and his long hair all salt and pepper
With his eyes closed he looked as if he was in a deep mode of meditation

His loyal dogs still huddled up beside him on his makeshift futon for warmth from the morning cold
Perhaps they were unaware that it was just a body there, their partner's soul had already left

His hands lay partially open on both the sides indicating that he had surrendered,
Surrendered to a beautiful death perhaps beside the God
Whom he had spent all his life searching for...

Maybe he forgot to write all that he had seen and observed, how he had become a nomad to break the social monochrome
He can enjoy one sense of achievement...
At least his death was different, I have never seen anyone die while they were sitting with a very peaceful expression on their face

Perhaps this is how he imagined breathing his last, caught off guard by angels of death on the road which was his companion and beside the God who was his inspiration...
We would never know who he was and what life he lived,
From Oblivion he came, in morbid oblivion he shall fade...
wow!! this is nice

schadenfreude -(LIFE POETRY)

Why do we rejoice in the downfall of our brethren,
When we were once joyous to their upliftment.
Was the expression of our joy from emulous heart,
Or our expression was just the housing for our jealousy?
If so, then why do we join in prayer for their upliftment
When our intentions for them are not to the depth of heart.
Why do we choose to be a wolf in sheep’s clothing then?
Why do we keep watch, and await evil just to merry?
Come out of your shell man.
For the man you prayed for and wished another is not for you.
Discard yourself from him, for a bane hearth corrupts thy soul and body
Because, a brethren whose concern is true to you, is whom you truly share in all his emotions.
