(1) Chidi Ordiah - Very good right back with explosive pace and dribbling skills. Hard as nail, unattached though one could wish he's a mid fielder. Only weakness is concentration... walahi Kolo Toure etal would have suffered with is pace and direct running when on the offensive (2)Taiye Taiwo - Has good reading of the game, full of power and rigid techniques that could break up opponents..problem is he sleeps too much on the attack. Excellent on free kicks .

I've almost forgotten about Chidi Ordiah. I think his performance at the last World Cup has foreclosed any thoughts of recalling him back; MOST of his passes went straight to the opponent.

Taye Taiwo should be recalled tho. He seems to have improved on his defensive side.

(3) Dele Adeleye. Very strong defender with good anticipation and experience. problem is he couldnt find a good partner in the Nigerian defence...Untried and untested because Nigeria couldnt wait for him to develop. (4) Danny Shittu. Epitome of power and grace. His talent is in doubt but makes up with extreme passion and guile. Unconventional but effective. That Arsenal boy (Gervinho) abi wetin dey call am would have been chasing his shadows all night like he normal does for Arsenal

(5)Seyi Olofinjana - Very talented but uncreative mid-fielder. The black pearl would have been a perfect match for Yaya Toure. Together with Mikel it would have been a mouth watering partnership..but bros done old small sha (6) Joel Obi- This is the closest we got to replacing Okocha since when kidnapper tried kidnap dat warri footballer(obodo) Jewel is extremely talented with excellent vision and reading of the game. He needs some flesh sha

(7) Christian Obodo - Talent not in doubt but over execution. This guy would have been a perfect nuisance for the Ivorians and the Nigerian fans (he must over do) since he was kidnapped nobody hear anything about him. (Kalu Uche- Wonder why keshi no take Ike brother. Excellent on the ball with direct play. That ageing Ivorian defence for hear am... I dey come make I drink tea

(9) Victor Anichiebe- The beast...full of potentials. Can be a match winner any day. The Ivorians would have had there hand full with this one. NFF, club and coach issues ensures he didnt join the party. (10) John Utaka- The phoenix, at his best he's un playable. Would have brought experience and motivations for the team on and off the pitch (11) Osaze Odewingie- Technically gifted with pace and clilncal finish. Likes loose ball and direct runs at deffenders. Wud have explore open spaces behind Yaya

(11) Obafemi Martins- Pocket of dynamite. Good in the air, with two powerfull feets complimented with extreme pace. Martins brings hope unto the team. He can score with flair both inside and outside the box. Would have troubled the Ivorian defence all night. Only God knows why he's not in the team considering his recent form. Aside Utaka, he's the last of our true super star in the mode of Kanu, Okocha and Oliseh still playing in Europe. Others na second class super star like Mikel (Chelsea appology)

(12) Bright Dike- With a superb goal against Catalan and very impressive display one wonders why he's not in the team. He shows great strength and vision to execute. Anticipation and mental strenght is similar to that of Amokachi. Only God know where Keshi dey when we dey play catalan. (13) Sone Aluko- Star for the future. Would have developed into the Nigerian game with this game. The guy would have taken the Ivorian by suprise with skills and dribbles...the suprise element of the team
