2003-2006 Toyota Camry 4cyl. (Big daddy). Very rugged, good ground clearance for bad roads, very spacious interior, parts availability, and a considerate fuel economy. Recommended for airport taxi service.

i got my cousin the Nissan Almeria hatch back. it came with factory AC but slightly high milleage - 172000km. i drove it for two weeks while carying out some maintenance.

In lagos the parts are cheap. Dont know of ilorin. In traffic fuel consumption with Ac on for me was okay compared to the SUV or Merc S420.
You may need input from toyota users which from most comments have good mpg.

My cousin will be using it for taxi in Abuja. Car came in color green (1998 model).

i am not a fan of front wheel drives so you need to know how far the front drive shaft will last before that terrible noise.

go for VW Passat or Vento, very good and easy to maintain, you will enjoy it, but for the servicing at least once in a mount.

a-1.4 Nissan 1995 Sunny will do the dirty job. It is durable and efficient with low fuel combustion ratio.

Almost all taxis in Ilorin are MAZDA. Why not join d taxi group there. You have advantage of easy access to mechanics and spare parts of what is in vogue there. The car is also economical. I drive one too personally.
