Codedone: pls is biology a compulsory o'level for engineering students?
In JAMB, no.
In WAEC, it can be substituted with Geography, Agricultural science or any science subject. However, if you are going for Biochemical engineering then Biology is compulsory.

Codedone, reverse is the case. In fact, computer engineering requires five credit passes in SSCE to include Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English Language. Biology is just a bonus, but the five subjects listed above are compulsory.

Different universities have admission criteria that differ slightly from one another. As for Uniuyo, I can't really say but in JAMB bronchure you will see those exact subjects.

Sire, I have big problem. When registering for JAMB this year my first choice was Uniuyo-Pharm, second choice was Our Savior Institute of science and technology(poly) Enugu state.

Now. Uniuyo finally gave me admission into pharmacy, number 101 on the list but it didn't reflect on JAMB site then, it showed 'No admission given yet'. I heard it was so for all Uniuyo aspirants.
You just updated that the list is on JAMB portal so I rushed to print it out and instead, saw that I had been admitted into our savior institute of science and technology, Enugu to study Science Laboratory technology. I can't believe this bro. I feel like crying.

What do I do now?

I think on JAMB portal by default the congratulatory message is usually visible to the awardee based on the institution that uploads first. It is possible that the first to upload overshadows the last in the 'check admission status' link. Or Uniuyo is still uploading the names. However, when you buy the scratch card for JAMB admission letter, it can be inferred that there will be two options indicating the two admission letters.
But regardless, I believe your admission is still intact.

Recheck your admission status on Uniuyo's portal: http://postutmeportal.uniuyo.edu.ng/admissionchecker.php
If you still have your admission, then there's nothing to fear. Just wait as the school might still be uploading the names.

Yes. Thank God it is still there. I bless God. But as I already have admission list on JAMB portal, can Uniuyo's admission list unsit that of our savior institute of science and technology for me?

Lol. If the school is still uploading, you'll probably have two congratulatory messages if not, then you'll see two congratulatory messages when you buy your scratch card and log in.

I figured it might be a waste of money so no. In the print out page of the school's congratulatory message, one of the instructions was to come with the Uniuyo's admission letter. JAMB admission letter was not mentioned. I decided that during the registration excercise I will print the JAMB admission letter only if the need be. I don't know about you though but this is what I intend doing.

Thanks a lot bro. Noted. Tomorrow I intend visiting JAMB office so I can reject the admission offer from our savior institute of science and technology(poly) Enugu state, so that when that of uniuyo shows up, only it will be there. If it is possible, how much will it cost me?

Also, I read we should come for the screening with the receipt of the acceptance fee. Well I've paid the acceptance fee of N15000 and I have the teller, pray tell me how I can convert this bank teller to receipt in order to be fully ready for the screening/registration scheduled to hold in January/February?

Cost of rejecting an admission offer is foreign to me, I have no idea. However, I don't think there's really going to be issuance of receipts for now, that's if there ever will be, but if the issuance turns positive then be rest assured that it will be during registration.

Yes, I believe I'm for pharmacy. No. Recently, I got in contact with a 100L student willing to give out the heavy courses and topics to me.
He is yet to anyway. I'm willing to get them from anyone else too.
I heard 100L is very challenging as fail in any course will require re-sitting 100L all over. I will strive to never fail. So help me God.
What course are you for again?
