Oil Theft: Shell May Shut Down Major Pipeline For Losing 60,000 Bpd by Nobody: 6:00pm On Mar 04, 2013 |
Reuters) - Royal Dutch Shell may be forced to shut down "completely" the Nembe Creek pipeline in Nigeria due to persistent oil theft, the company's local unit said on Monday. http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/03/04/shell-nigeria-idUSL6N0BW1FE20130304?feedType=RSS&feedName=rbssEnergyNews&rpc=43 Why is Nigeria so fukd up? We have Navy airforce etc.. This is economic sabotage and a case of national security emergency. But government is turning a blind eye to the situation. Only for Jonathan to be begging foreign nations to help. Seriously, Nigeria has gone to the dogs. Chaos looms, everything is upside down. Go wipe out these creek thieves! Wipe them out if they won't repent. If the oil producing communities want to control their oil, they should think of having a communal oil company that will take 60% of profit. That is the way to go for now until Nigerian constitution is changed. Be creative not destructive. |
