Nice work, mukina2. Please note that mukina2 didn't delete the thread on "what the moderator should do". I did that.

Hi again cheesy

Please note this is a special notice to anyone who cares to read it

especially

"NO PERSONAL ATTACKS OR PUBLIC FIGHTS

Nairaland is a discussion forum, and it is inevitable that disagreements with crop up from time to time. Please be nice and respectful to other members at all times and do not resort to personal attacks, accusations, name-calling, and other unproductive forms of communication. If you are upset with another member of the forum you must settle the fight outside the forum. You must not carry out any 'fights' on the open forum. 'Fights' are not allowed."

"NO SEXUALLY EXPLICIT OR HATEFUL CONTENT

-Please do not post any pictures, multimedia content,

-Writing that is sexually explicit (lewd, suggestive, bawdy, dirty, erotic, filthy, gross, hard core, immodest, indecent, indelicate, lascivious, licentious, naughty, obscene, off-color, pornographic, X-rated, smutty, suggestive).

-We will also not allow any comments that promote hatred or discrimination against any race, ethnic or religion group, gender, sexual orientation, et cetera."

Please Note that if you defy any of the rules especially the ones above you will be banned cool

"BANNING, PROBATION, ETC
Our basic punishments for members of the forum who violate these rules and/or are uncooperative include banning, indefinite probation,

1 week banning,

2 week banning,

1 month banning,

Complete banning,

Public humiliation, and anything thing else that the dark mind of the site administrator can think of! So it's better to leave the forum quietly than to break the rules. Punishment is rare but is done with absolute resolution. Default ban is a permanent ban"

Any attempt to bypass the word censor is AGAINST forum rules and will warrant a ban.

You will have noticed that certain words have been censored on the forum. This is in order to maintain a level of decorum and to avoid drawing undue attention to the forum or affecting innocent minds that might browse the forum.

While mature issues regarding intimacy and sexuality can be discussed, it is the forum intent to control the use of certain words in this regard. Please abide by the rules, as the words are routinely examined to see if they truly merit being removed or not and this will be an ongoing process.

While we try to do this, some members are intentionally bypassing the censor system by posting words that are similar or not identical to the censored word

For example, instead of using the crude word for intercourse (starting with f) some use will repeat the last letter e.g 'fucccckkk' others will replace a letter with a symbol, e.g aS$, while others will spell out the words using dashes e.g G-A-Y.

The list above is not comprehensive but just an indication of the various methods used.

Any attempt to bypass the word censor is AGAINST forum rules and will warrant a ban.

Following this clear announcement, the following enforcement measures are going to be implemented as of 22-01-2009.

1. First offence - instant 2 day ban

2. Second offence 7 day ban

3. Third offence indefinite ban

Please, Please, PLEASE comply with this instruction. If you fail to do so, do not be surprised if you are banned.

While moderators might not pick up each case, those of you unfortunate to be caught will be used as an example.

This rule is not retroactive and won't cover posts made before the date above, but if you are caught from now, you will be banned.

Thanks for understanding.

Hi y'all,

There is a childboard in this section for European Football (EPL, La Liga, Serie A, Champions League, UEFA Cup etc) threads. It's right on top of this section and you can't miss it but just in case, here is the link to it. . . .

https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/board-66.0.html

Please, post all threads pertaining to European Football clubs (i.e match day threads, news, fan threads, transfers, scandals involving club players, new ownership etc) there and not in here, the general sports section.

I'm only posting this cos it's becoming increasingly common and rampant for people (particularly newbies) to post their European football club threads here. THIS SECTION IS STRICTLY FOR NIGERIAN FOOTBALL AND OTHER SPORTS.

Any European Football club thread posted here (The General Sports Section) will be moved to the European Football League board.

Thanks for understanding. cool

I'll leave y'all with this screenshot for easy location of the European Football club Section which I have highlighted
