Like a driver in a Nigerian bank who fooled a naive lady that he was a bank manager and she never found out the truth until they were married.

Like a single mother lying that she did not have any child and she deceived a guy into marriage and he was shocked to find out that she already had two kids out of wedlock.
Or a guy with a Green Card wife in the U.S., who returned and lied to a Nigerian girl that he was never married. They married in Lagos and he left her behind in Nigeria and kept on postponing when she would join him in America?
